Standard Safety Features

The 2019 Chevy Blazer is available in six trims: L, Blazer 2.5L Cloth, Blazer 3.6L Cloth, Blazer 3.6L Leather, RS, and Premier. Standard on all trims is a rearview camera to give you an extra set of eyes while you are in reverse. Also standard across the entire lineup is Teen Driver, which comes in handy if you have a new driver in your household. Teen Driver lets you set certain options and controls to give your teen driver coaching to promote safe driving habits. Other standard safety features include a tire pressure monitoring system, Tire Fill Alert, the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control, rear child security door locks, OnStar® and Chevrolet Connected Services capability, and more.

Available Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

Climbing up the trim ladder of the 2019 Blazer opens up access to more available safety and driver-assistance features. Available Adaptive Cruise Control – Advanced takes regular cruise control to another level by adapting the cruising speed to the flow of traffic ahead of you, reducing the need for frequent braking and acceleration. Available Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning can alert you if you start drifting out of your lane. Another available feature to help with a daily issue is Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which provides visual and audible alerts while in reverse if another vehicle from cross traffic is approaching. Available Forward Collision Alert can detect slowing vehicles ahead of you so you can avoid a possible collision. Along those lines, available Forward Automatic Braking can automatically brake the vehicle if it detects an imminent collision.
